I am so excited to invite you to an intimate, in-person Encaustic Workshop on August 8!
If you haven’t worked with encaustics before, it is an ancient art form dating back thousands of years—originally used by ancient Greeks and Egyptian portraitists to seal and protect priceless works of art against the test of time. Using heated, clear beeswax mixed with damar resin, pigments, and layers of paper and paint, we will create mixed-media pieces that literally capture our stories beneath a translucent, luminous shield. No experience necessary!
